What: The Toronto Fashion Incubator kicks its annual New Labels runway show up a notch this year by incorporating the presentation into its 20th-anniversary Ultimate Platinum gala. This event will benefit the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI), a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing, supporting and promoting new fashion entrepreneurs.
Why: Celebrate the 20th anniversary of TFI by watching designers Engelbert Gayagoy of 1.618, Malak by Kalam Lee, Ozen by Phoebe Gao and Enfys Zhuo, and Quelques Filles by Sarah Nicol and Kelly Dowdall show off their finalist looks. Plus, you’ll get hors d’oeuvres, a wine tasting reception hosted by Vin de Pays d’Oc, a delish VIP dinner, and an ELLE Canada gift bag featuring products from CoverGirl, Pantene, and more!
When: April 17, 2007. The VIP wine tasting and reception (and silent auction) begin at 6 p.m. followed by the general admission wine tasting and VIP dinner at 7 p.m. The runway show begins at 9 p.m.
