What: The much anticipated 5th Annual Red and White Ball event was hosted at one of Toronto’s trendiest venues, Maro, in support of breast cancer research. The night was a flurry of delightful hors d’oevres (sushi, bocconcini cheese rolled in beef carpaccio sprinkled with cilantro, and coconut shrimp with a spicy pink sauce), delish drinks, and music. MacGraham, a hot new recording artist, performed while guests sipped on Champbull (Champagne mixed with Red Bull) and mingled with Toronto’s hottest and most influential individuals.
Why: Raffle tickets ($10) included many great prizes including a Belvadere Vodka home coclktail party with professional mixologist (value $1,500), two sport spa packs at The Men’s Powerspa (value $500), two round trip tickets from Porter Airlines (value $1,000), and four tickets to Canadian Idol (value $500). All proceeds from the evening including the $40 per ticket entrace fee benefitted Rethink Cancer.
